Capiz Strand

Our capiz strands are a top choice, boasting a wide selection of stunning color combinations. They add a gorgeous ambiance to any space and come with a metal hoop at the top for easy hanging. Our capiz is sourced from a fishing village in Java, where our shell artisans hand-gather the shells and craft them. All parts of the capiz (jingle oyster) are put to use; the meat is eaten, the main part of the shell is crafted, and the shell waste is used as fertilizer. Only fully-grown shells are collected from the kelp beds, allowing more space and food for the younger ones. ~~~~~~ 72”
